We want to let you know that the Word team has heard your feedback, and they’re planning to restore right-click access to AutoCorrect options in Word 2016. If you’re an Office 365 subscriber, you should see this change in a future update.

As always, thanks for your feedback. We appreciate it!

Very pleased you are working on that, will be a good functionality improvement.

I have another suggestion about spelling corrections. It comes from your competitor Google. When working in a Google doc or gmail, there are two features that seem to cut down efforts considerably:
    1. I can check a word without having to right click. Until I discovered this, I did not realise how much time/effort a saving this is.
    2. The offering an alternative box that comes up, is very close to the word itself, so it is a tiny mouse shift to click on the correct option. Again, I'm surprised at myslel how nice this tiny extra convenience felt. (Comment - the hierarchical spelling options in the word menu feels like a 1990s design that has not been updated - might be wrong but that's what it feels like to me).
Either or both of these changes should be compatible with MS Word and add to the usability. Best.
