This is clearly a business decision and not a technical challenge. Please, mr/ms bean counter, just add the ruler and options to add or manipulate tabs. I'm teaching MS products at a community college and also teaching the same content to a high school class, but the high school is only using Chromebooks. Word Online works on a Chromebook, but compared to G-Suite, it's actually easier to convert my materials to that than to try to make it all work in Word Online. The consequence is that my high school students are going to graduate from high school knowing the ins and outs of G-Suite and will have little impetus to change unless it is absolutely required.
I have Office 365 through my employer, but I find myself using G-Suite more and more often because of the limitations in the Online tools that MS provides.Sean Stephens supported this idea ·
