I agree that overall, the Track Changes modifications make my job (as a professional editor, like the poster) much more labor intensive. When authors review documents, they need to be able to see queries written in comment boxes, and those get lost when there is no shading.

It is a huge problem for me not to have this information readily available. I am a professional copyeditor, and sometimes I need to know exactly when I or another reviewer made a particular change. I know that I can mouse over an edit to find the time, but that is very time-consuming, especially when I might need to do ten or twenty of them. Please bring this feature back.

It is irritating to have to right-click and select "Delete Comment" when before it was so easy: just click the X in the corner of the balloon. The same goes for edits made with Track Changes on. There used to be a little checkmark to accept the edit or an X to reject it in the little balloon. Now I have to go to the menu up top and select the Review tab and then select Accept or Reject. That is a lot of steps. Please reinstate the ability to reject/accept edits and delete comments right in the balloons themselves. I am a professional copyeditor and am really frustrated by this change.

I am professional editor and rely on being able to cross-reference comments by comment number. Please bring this back.

Yes, this is ridiculous. It used to be so simple to delete comments and accept/reject edits by clicking right in the balloon. Now you have to go through various steps. I am a professional editor, and this is really a waste of my time.
