Also add back color-coded comments. So easy not to see someone's comments! Hard to tell the difference between deletions and comments. I agree with the commenter who said "entire legal community (anyone who drafts contracts) is looking for an alternative to MS Word now... that's a big chunk of customers" With Word 2010, you had a captive audience of anyone who drafted a contract. Now, we are all looking for alternatives.

While you are at it, please add color coding to comment balloons! Need to be able to see them.

Great idea! Since Microsoft has destroyed the comment bubbles feature after Word 2010, a workaround that lawyers have been using is put the comments right into the text. If Microsoft is so against color-coding, etc, that make comment bubbles useful, they should provide an in-text alternative. Agree that the in-text comments should work similarly and you can move from one to the next and delete with one click

Microsoft actively discriminates against older users. Many of their "upgrades" remove functions, visual clarity that older users depend on. Note to Microsoft: people over 40 matter!

Agreed!! If at all possible, go back to Word 2010 if you need comments and editing functions. They worked much better in that version. It's as if they don't want us to use comments and are trying to make it as poor as possible so they can completely remove that feature. How hard can it be to apply color to the balloons?
