I am using a MacBook Pro Silver (15-inch, 2016) OS Mojave 10.14. I am using Microsoft Word 16.16.3. It is noted, in the Help section "Compare Word features on different platforms", "File viewing features", that "Word 2016 for Mac" "Zoom level saved" is "Feature is supported". This is not the case, nor is the document position saved. I open a document, move it to the upper left on the desktop, and set the Zoom at 100%, do some work on the document, save it, close it, and when I open it again it is in some random spot on the desktop and the Zoom is 90%, contrary to what I had set it at, and as advertised. I haven't found, in the Preferences, where I can make these criteria permanent, or default.

A year ago I purchased a new MacBook Pro Silver with the Sierra OS, and at the same time purchased the latest Microsoft Office. I recently "upgraded" the Sierra to 10.13.4, downloading it from the Apple WebSite. I downloaded the "upgrade" Microsoft Word 16.11.1 from the Microsoft WebSite.

It's really frustrating! For several years I have been working with Microsoft Word, setting up a positioning system that was solid and reliable. When I opened a document, it would go where I had set it up to be, and, in the format that I had set it up to be.

Since I can't position and format the documents now to stay that way, I have found that the "upgrade" turned out to be a "downgrade" instead, for me anyway.

Also, documents now open with a default zoom of 90%. I change it to 100%, but they don't stay that way.

I agree! I open a document and it is in some random spot on the desktop, and it is in 90% Zoom. I have found no option to make the documents open where I last positioned them. And no option for making the documents 100% Zoom by default.

I use a MacBook Pro Silver macOS. Sierra Version 10.13.6. I am using Microsoft Word 16.16. I see the Draft View default option has been restored. Good on you. Now, as already noted, restore the default "reopen to the same view last used".

In previous versions, I could move a document to the upper left of the screen, set the Font at Times 12, set the Zoom at 100%, Set the View at Draft View, Save the document, close it, and when I reopened it, it would be eight where I left it last, and with all the criteria previously set. I can't do that now, and it is EXTREMELY frustrating.

Please restore all of these previous functions.
