An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your feedback. Can you give us more details about the document you're trying to open. Where is the document location (e.g. your hard drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, etc.) Is the document password protected? Does the document have rights management enabled?

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your feedback. Our Word Online mobile website has an option for opening your document in the Word mobile application which you can then use to save a copy of the document.
Let us know if this doesn't resolve your problem.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your feedback. Can you provide more description of the type of themes you would like to see? Are these in relation to the options you have to quickly format your documents (we call these Styles) or about the general esthetics of the Word Online website?

Thanks for the feedback!
When you open documents that you own in OneDrive and OneDrive for Business, we now open in edit mode by default. Documents shared with you still open in Reading View. We are in the process of rolling out default-to-edit for SharePoint libraries, stay tuned! :)
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your feedback! Word Online already supports document sharing and co-authoring by multiple people, you can try it by clicking on the Share button on the top-right of the site. We are also constantly improving our feature set and performance in order to meet our customers need. If there is a particular feature or functionality you would like to see available in Word Online please let us know!

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Robert,
Thanks for the feedback!
Microsoft wants to deliver a great productivity experience across all endpoints, and for that reason Office Online is currently supported on Linux:
https://support.office.com/en-US/Article/Office-Online-browser-support-ad1303e0-a318-47aa-b409-d3a5eb44e452?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=USIf you're seeing Office Online bugs in the Linux environment, click the "HELP IMPROVE OFFICE" button in the lower right corner of the app and let us know what's wrong.
If your only request is for the Office Desktop Applications to come to Linux, I'd recommend posting in the Word for Windows (Desktop Application) forum here:

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Vishnu,
Thanks for posting!
Word Online can currently read .doc files in View mode.
If you want to edit .doc files with Word Online, we must first convert the file to a .docx.
If you have an older version of the Microsoft Office Desktop Applications (2003 or Before), and you want to consume .docx files, you can download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack here:

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ben, thank you for your feedback. Can you elaborate on your feature request? Is it the ability to move pictures within a document (e.g. drag and drop) or is it more of the ability to move pictures within your OneDrive folder? Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback. To make sure we understand your feedback correctly, are you suggesting we add a way to change the color/texture of Word Online background? If so, can you tell me a little more about how would this would make your Word Online experience better?
