Please make Word for Android better optimized for Chromebooks. Add more features that will give Chromebook users a closer user experience to that of full fledged Word for PC, otherwise we, who love Word are left with no serious options besides Google Docs. Some developers have already started optimizing their apps to Chromebooks, so that many options that are not found on the Android phones or tablets are shown on a Chromebook. It is time Microsoft do it too and give us, Chromebook users a better tool.

The Word on ChromeBook is very limited with respect to the features available on it.

I have bought a Chromebook for a college course only to find out the referencing and citation functions aren't available in Word! For a product targeted at students as it is able to run office I find this disappointing and misleading! I understand the need for perhaps a lighter version than PC's but this version is extremely stripped back! Also the ability to change styles would be a huge benefit!
It is interesting to learn that the annual subscription to Office 365 is much more expensive than the on-off pay for the "Windows-Office" and when using the 365 on the Chromebook the features are limited.. very limited.
I'm a big Word supporter and hope to continue the positivity with Chromebook use after the soonest 365 update.

100% needed as soon as possible. I love word and would happily continue my subscription when it runs out in a couple of months, but if the chrome book word add isn’t optimised to include more features, namely for me references, citations and bibliographies, I’ll have no choice but to cancel the subscription and use google docs instead.
