I'd like to achieve the same APA formatting as with the desktop application of Word within the Word for Android app.
Within the desktop app, you'd select the "Reference" menu tab, input source information via the "manage sources" option, and then utilize the "insert citation" option for easy incorporation of source data into the document. Ideally, the same tab, same sources compilation abilities, and same insertion method would be present in the mobile app.

Display document with embedded fonts
If a word document has embedded fonts, the display and editing on android should allow for that font to be used.
It would be great if the embedded font can be installed automatically.39 votes -
Citations
I am a college student using the word app for android and I need to insert citations in papers for class. It takes me like twice as long to type a paper than it normally would. Please allow the references feature to work in the android app it's the only way that I have access to word

Multi-Window for MS Word
I thin kit would be useful if MS Word could support split-screen with A) a second word document (so that you can have two word documents up side-by-side) and, B) any another application (e.g. PDF viewer, or browser, or file manager, etc.)

Enable choosing default font in Word (Office) for Android
How come it's not possible to enable a default font in Word for the Android platform, when competing companies can?
Really, how hard can it be, programming-wise ... ?32 votes -
Update Word on a Chromebook to provide more features, specifically the full reference tab
I have a chromebook and the current mobile version of word simply isn’t good enough. Please can it be updated to include the ability to manage bibliographies and cite sources as that is fundamental to my work. Although I love word, if it isn’t changed soon I’ll have to cancel my subscription

Add the full proofing and grammar checking tools included on MS Word desktop version
In full Microsoft Word (desktop version, from 2007 onwards) you can switch on extra grammar checking and readability features that help you write.
How about having the option to switch these on in the Android version of Word?
I appreciate this would be a 'paid for' thing and be included in an Office365 subscription.
All I'll say is, right now, there's not a lot between Android Word and built-in options like Google Docs. To people who write for a living, having an offline readability checker is really useful. If Android Word has it, but Google Docs doesn't, which one…

Referencing (Citation)
Hello, would love the feature "referencing" to be introduced to Word for Android much like you see on the desktop version of Word.
Thankyou

Allow drop down menus in Word documents to work in Android version.
We like to email word docs to employees to fill out and return. We include drop down boxes which work fine on PC but not on Android. Most our employees are field based with limited access to Laptops, so use Android devices.

Add Times New Roman to the list of fonts offered.
I write my essays for college on my phone through the word app. Most of my essays require my to type them in times new Roman which isn't possible on the app. I was wondering if it were possible to add the font to the other fonts, so I can continue my school work though the app.

Insert date time option.
There should be an option to insert the current date as a field, as per the PC version. It should also have the option to be static (remain as it was when first inserted), or an option so that it updates itself whenever the document is opened, e.g if you start writing a letter on 15th, but finish on 17th etc.

Chromebook optimization
Please make Word for Android better optimized for Chromebooks. Add more features that will give Chromebook users a closer user experience to that of full fledged Word for PC, otherwise we, who love Word are left with no serious options besides Google Docs. Some developers have already started optimizing their apps to Chromebooks, so that many options that are not found on the Android phones or tablets are shown on a Chromebook. It is time Microsoft do it too and give us, Chromebook users a better tool.

Make Word for Android compatible with Samsung's multi-window
Love using word with my android devices (Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 Edition Table and Samsung Galaxy Note cell phone.
Would love to get the full use of my android devices, Word for Android does not appear to be compatible with the Samsung's multi-window feature.
Please make the Word for Android app to be able to function with Samsung multi-window features.21 votes -
