Full version of Microsoft Office
I think that a full version of MS Office should be released to the ipad. The iPad has more than enough power to be able to run it. If PCs can run it, I don’t see why iPads should have a problem.
IpadOS comes up, hopefully a full version of word comes with it
Same here.. the app version the worst version i have ever seen

I am with you both. I just got my new iPad Pro specifically for school (MBA student who loves to travel) and I need so much more than the dinky junk offered on the mobile version! Give me the option to download the full MS Office suite from Microsoft account onto my iPad! I don’t want the mobile, I want the full suite with all the awesomeness that comes with it. I need to be able to format properly and quickly as I work through papers and this just doesn’t cut it.

Bought my ipad for studies! I was so disappointed to find out that on Word app for ipad it is not possible to create a bibliography and Contents.
On a regular computer version of Word you can do so much more than on mobile or iPhone, tablets, etc.
I find it very frustrating that vital formatting and other setting are missing. For instance, you can not indent the first line of a paragraph, only a whole paragraph. There is also not a hanging word option. There are a vast number of essential options missing on this version and it makes it so that Word is not functioning as it should and leaves tons of room for improvement.
This is supposed to be for mobile use, but if you don't have the correct formatting tools, it is basically useless and worthless.
So if you were to include all of the paragraph, editing, format, font, and other tools, it would be less stressful and more functional and efficient, since I can not use this to email it to myself or another person, due to the missing format options, because I'd look like a fool.
