Add small caps to font formatting
Daniel Holt commented
Many professional fonts contain a full set of small caps, precisely crafted characters that are not merely scaled down capital letters. There is no way to access those characters in Word. Toggling on small caps in the Format>Character dialog box simply puts lower case letters in all caps, scaled down to a smaller size. If you compare true small caps to these Word-generated substitutes, the inferiority of the latter is obvious.
