Please add navigation pane support for iPad/iphone, navigating a large document that I have set up with headers is a pain currently. additionally a next page previous page button would be helpful as scrolling constantly can be tiresome.
We’re pleased to share with you that we’ve addressed this long-standing feature request: the ability to tap and navigate to your Headings. This capability is available to all users on builds greater than 2.43
I would not recommend Word on iPad for anything more than a short letter or brief report. And you can do this with built-in Pages. Word desperately needs ways to navigate. It’s ridiculous that it’s missing in a word processor of this caliber. As my book got longer, I quit using Word, And switched to Pages, which is about as lame. I write in short blocks, send it to my PC, then hash it all out and add it to the story. Unless you can remember a unique word 50,000 words into your document, you’ll never get there. The only way to move in your document is to wear your screen out sweeping upward or downward a few hundred times. It’s like driving through a town without road signs.

This is a critical feature. Word on iPad will be a simple demo app without it. You cannot write a document of any length without it. I frequently use the styles in Word for this exclusive purpose - organizing content and documentation. Without the ability to organize my content and quickly jump to content within large documents, it makes word on iPad virtually useless. Please add ASAP. Many people of been asking for this feature.

This is an extremely important functionality for working with structured documents. Without it smart orientation in longer word documents on ipad is almost imposible, you must search and waste precious time... word for ipad is than a poor demo toy, not a serious working tool. Thanks for all comunity working with structured word documents for implementing this functionality in the future...

This is more than a good idea, I class it as Essential. It's virtually impossible to write anything of any length in Word without it.
