Mouse/trackpad support for Word for iPad
In iPadOS 13.4, Apple introduced mouse and trackpad support more broadly into the platform. Word would offer a greatly enhanced user experience by offering full support ie change the cursor for text editing, enable support for left and right clicks etc. Would be great to see.

Since iPads are popular for students, it would be beneficial to implement the references and bibliography feature.
It does not seem like a huge update in comparison to what Word is already capable of on iOS. This would help the movement from laptops to iPad far easier as they’re becoming the more popular option for students due to the ease of transport and access etc.

Permanently Change/Set a New Default Font
This app is great! However, it would really be EXTREMELY helpful if you were able to permanently change/set your own choice of font so that it is automatically chosen for you when you open a new document and/or add in a text box. The default font for the iPad is currently the “Calibri” font, however this font is not as professional as some of the others. It would be AMAZING if you were able to change/set the font to your own personal preference such as “Times New Roman”. OR you could just change the app so the default font is…

Support for multitasking in IPadOS for Microsoft Office. This is crucial. And also shouldn’t be that difficult. Everyone is doing it.
IPadOS now supports multitasking and this feature is very useful for enhancing productivity. Microsoft Office has not updated their apps for the IPad in this regard and is still lagging behind. One would have imagined that the apps would be updated within weeks as far as this crucial feature is concerned. Please update ASAP.

Support for custom fonts in iOS 14
Hello,
with iOS 13 Apple has introduced additional APIs for installing new systemwide available fonts (https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2019/227). These APIs work as an addition to the possibility of installing fonts as configuration profiles.
Since iOS 14, Apple requires all apps in which the custom fonts should be used to make use of the new APIs, even if the fonts were installed as configuration profiles (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ios-ipados-release-notes/ios-ipados-14-release-notes#Fonts).
Office for iOS has not been updated to support the new APIs, which is why fonts that were installed through my iOS app "AnyFont" are not usable in the Office apps. Is there…

Integration Microsft 365-Touchpad Magic Keyboard 2020 for iPad Pro
I bought a new Magic Keyboard 2020 for iPad Pro a few days ago. I have realised that the level of integration of the virtual mouse (touchpad) with Microsoft 365 applications is extremely poor.
When will Microsoft release a new version of his suite, allowing ipad users to fully benefit from all the potential behind the combined use of Microsoft 365 + ipad pro+ magic keyboard touchpad?
Please, do it quickly...!!!

Ability to change a document's background color on the iPad
On the Windows and Mac versions it is possible to change a document's background color by going to the design tab. Word for iOS will display correctly documents whose background color has been changed elsewhere (on a Mac or Windows PC), but does not allow for the change to be made within the app itself. I like to change background color for comfort while editing and that is the one feature I sorely need.
