Word for Mac 2016 - Table Properties dialog is confused, disorganized.
Alignment settings are scattered between two tabs.
Disorganized Scatter: tab Cell “Vertical Alignment” to group with “Horizontal Alignment”.
Alignment naming convention is not consistent in Tables Properties.
Naming convention: tab Table “Alignment” should be renamed to “Horizontal Alignment”.
Suggestion: rename tab Table “Alignment” to “Horizontal Alignment”.
Suggestion: move tab Cell “Vertical Alignment” to tab Table “Vertical Alignment”.
Suggestion: move tab Table “Text Wrapping” field to tab Cell “Text Wrapping”.
Suggestion: move tab Table field button “Positioning” to tab Cell under “Text Wrapping”.1 vote
It would be great if the minimum required disk space for installation could be reduced, it seems that office 2011 was much smaller5 votes
Show All Revisions Inline (or Show Only Comments and Formatting in Balloons) by default (for all documents). It is more convenient for most of users.9 votes
It appears that the "Medium" field is missing when:
1) clicking the "References" tab,
2) selecting "MLA" as the "Style" in the "Citations and Bibliography" group,
3) clicking "Manage Sources" in the "Citations and Bibliography" group,
4) clicking "New...," and
5) selecting "Web site" as "Type of Source."
The field also appears to be missing when the "Show all bibliography fields" box is checked.
Please let me know if this feature can be added. Thank you for considering this idea.0 votes
Dear Microsoft team,
Would you please include the Mongolian language under "Tools" and "Language" menu, if possible?
I am a writer and translator in Mongolian language. Sometimes my "do not correct grammar" button defaults back to correcting my text and the document becomes all red, making it difficult to work.
If you would please include Mongolian language in the language options, it would increase user friendliness to Mongolian language researchers very much.
Thank you for your consideration,

Ten years later, and we still can't convert a Word document into a PDF that retains live hyperlinks.
I've paid £120.00 for Microsoft Home & Student 2019, and this bug still hasn't been fixed.
What a joke.
Microsoft's Mac coding team should either hang their heads in shame OR RESIGN.
Here is Adobe's simple drag and drop solution:0 votes
In 2021, Word for Mac is still awful - completely unreliable, inconsistent and full of bugs and quirks. The ribbon of options is mostly useless - I don't want to risk using any of the features because they will inevitably lead to a corrupted document. Just stop trying to innovate and instead, focus on the basics of making a reliable word processing application.0 votes

Better citation capabilities
1. APA 7
2. Ability to enter URL in all citations. eg. in journals we cannot enter the URL from the data base from which we've retrieved the article.
3. Need to be able to cite directly from article. Presently we have o manually enter references into the citation manager. Refworks is a serious competitor1 vote
One can change regular text to full caps and back to regular text if you started typing in regular text. Why when you start typing in full caps, you cannot change it to regular text ?0 votes
Have auto correct on word so every word you get wrong will automatically correct without you correcting it yourself.0 votes

When you right-click the Microsoft Word icon on Mac Dock, add an option for "New Document"...Would also like it if recents and/or pinned documents could be directly seen on this menu instead of having to go to the "Open Recent" tab first...1 vote
Allow existing Word Documents on our Macs to be accessible to we loyal users for editing, copying and pasting content etc
Hi Microsoft Word, I understand how Microsoft have all we, existing, microsoft users 'over a barrel', at the moment, by insisting we buy a subscription to Microsoft Word. However, why are we having the door slammed shut on us having the ability to edit and utilise our existing Word Documents, some of which contain thousands of words and were composed many years ago??1 vote

Literally like not a thing, I can't find how how to do it0 votes
When I insert a list of sources - no matter the citation format - it doesn't go in alphabetic order and there is no way to make it go so.
Selecting the list and using the "sort" feature doesn't work because it's a "content navigation item" - I get an error message.0 votes
