PDF hyperlinks in Office
Ten years later, and we still can't convert a Word document into a PDF that retains live hyperlinks.
I've paid £120.00 for Microsoft Home & Student 2019, and this bug still hasn't been fixed.
What a joke.
Microsoft's Mac coding team should either hang their heads in shame OR RESIGN.
Here is Adobe's simple drag and drop solution:

Stop adding new features until the Mac version is stable
In 2021, Word for Mac is still awful - completely unreliable, inconsistent and full of bugs and quirks. The ribbon of options is mostly useless - I don't want to risk using any of the features because they will inevitably lead to a corrupted document. Just stop trying to innovate and instead, focus on the basics of making a reliable word processing application.

Citation manager needs updating/ RefWorks outdoing Word
Better citation capabilities
1. APA 7
2. Ability to enter URL in all citations. eg. in journals we cannot enter the URL from the data base from which we've retrieved the article.
3. Need to be able to cite directly from article. Presently we have o manually enter references into the citation manager. Refworks is a serious competitor1 vote -
Caps / Regular text
One can change regular text to full caps and back to regular text if you started typing in regular text. Why when you start typing in full caps, you cannot change it to regular text ?

Ability to select "new document" from Microsoft Word Dock Icon
When you right-click the Microsoft Word icon on Mac Dock, add an option for "New Document"...Would also like it if recents and/or pinned documents could be directly seen on this menu instead of having to go to the "Open Recent" tab first...

Allow existing Word Documents on our Macs to be accessible to we loyal users for editing, copying and pasting content etc
Hi Microsoft Word, I understand how Microsoft have all we, existing, microsoft users 'over a barrel', at the moment, by insisting we buy a subscription to Microsoft Word. However, why are we having the door slammed shut on us having the ability to edit and utilise our existing Word Documents, some of which contain thousands of words and were composed many years ago??

When I insert a list of sources - no matter the citation format - it doesn't go in alphabetic order
When I insert a list of sources - no matter the citation format - it doesn't go in alphabetic order and there is no way to make it go so.
Selecting the list and using the "sort" feature doesn't work because it's a "content navigation item" - I get an error message.0 votes -
