  1. I can't make new folders on my 13" macbook pro in word

    When I save a word file, the app icons at the bottom of the screen prevent me from making a new folder on my 13" laptop. The only way I can do this now is to go into finder and make a folder first, which is annoying. Please move the button up or make the save as screen smaller.

  2. I'd like to be able to see the name of my document when I have it in full screen mode on my Mac.

    When I have my document in full screen on another desktop, I can't see the name of my document at the top of the window. This is confusing when I have two very similar documents up (a regular and honors version of a test) and need to make sure I'm editing the correct document.

  4. Possible bug in Word for Mac 2011 (Version 14.5.8) with equation alignment at "=" sign

    When I align equations at the "=" sign with version 14.5.8 of Word for Mac 2011 my document appears to get corrupted (OS X 10.10.5). For example, after quitting the document some of the equations disappear and I cannot extend the text beyond the current page. Please fix if this is a bug.

  9. PLEASE make preferences sticky in track changes.

    I'm being told there is no current workaround for this issue in Word for Mac 2016: Using Word for Mac 2011 we were able to set preferences for track changes. However, now we cannot, and Word "resets" to the default each time for markup options, balloons, etc. Please change this to provide another or an expanded existing icon in Word/Preferences so that we (who edit hundreds of documents per month) can tell Word that in EACH document I edit, please make the changes this way.   11. When opening, editing and saving an RTF file need to stop the file size massively increasing

    When I open, edit and save an RTF file in Word for Mac, the file size increases dramatically. Microsoft Word for Windows have a solution for this, I would like Word for Mac to have a solution too.

  12. Word for Mac 2016 - Table Properties “Alignment”

    Word for Mac 2016 - Table Properties dialog is confused, disorganized.

    Alignment settings are scattered between two tabs.
    Disorganized Scatter: tab Cell “Vertical Alignment” to group with “Horizontal Alignment”.

    Alignment naming convention is not consistent in Tables Properties.
    Naming convention: tab Table “Alignment” should be renamed to “Horizontal Alignment”.

    Suggestion: rename tab Table “Alignment” to “Horizontal Alignment”.
    Suggestion: move tab Cell “Vertical Alignment” to tab Table “Vertical Alignment”.
    Suggestion: move tab Table “Text Wrapping” field to tab Cell “Text Wrapping”.
    Suggestion: move tab Table field button “Positioning” to tab Cell under “Text Wrapping”.

  13. Decrease the installation size

    It would be great if the minimum required disk space for installation could be reduced, it seems that office 2011 was much smaller

  14. Show All Revisions Inline BY DEFAULT

    Show All Revisions Inline (or Show Only Comments and Formatting in Balloons) by default (for all documents). It is more convenient for most of users.

  16. make updates smaller

    The updates to Office 2016 happen at least once a month and are over 1GB in size. It's like re-installing the entire product each update. This is unacceptable, especially when you want the latest security and feature updates, but have a monthly Internet download cap to manage and you have 2 computers to update.

  18. Add a button o shortcut for going back to the starting point after visiting a hyperlink

    Please, add an easy way to return to the starting point after clicking on a cross-reference, element of an index or any reference field with a hyperlink to other part of the same document. It would be very useful and time-saving.

  19. Make it possible to hide part of the document in a similar way as in Excel!

    I frequently want to print or show just parts of the document that I've written and wonder why it doesn't seem to exist a fast and easy "select and hide" - function for doing so?

  20. How-To: Import Macros (*.bas file) from Word for Mac 2011 into Word for Mac 2016

    Please provide a checklist or "How To" as to how to select a *.bas Macro file created in Word for Mac 2011 and import it into the new Word for Mac 2016.

    Also, please work on improving actual VBE editor functionality, at least to the level it worked in the 2011 edition.
