Re-introduce a way to easily delete a comment in the margin
Comments on the text: it used to be possible to tick them off (deleting them) easily in the previous version of Word by clicking on the cross-button in the comment balloon. Now one has to use a right-mouse-click, which is inconvenient, or the ribbon somewhere, which would most of the time require several clicks.
And BTW, while you are at it: why not re-introducing proper balloons rather than unclear flat white comments for which it is unclear to which section of text they refer and for which one can hardly see the difference with the next comment of review-edit.
Thanks for your feedback! We’re reviewing your suggestion.

It is irritating to have to right-click and select "Delete Comment" when before it was so easy: just click the X in the corner of the balloon. The same goes for edits made with Track Changes on. There used to be a little checkmark to accept the edit or an X to reject it in the little balloon. Now I have to go to the menu up top and select the Review tab and then select Accept or Reject. That is a lot of steps. Please reinstate the ability to reject/accept edits and delete comments right in the balloons themselves. I am a professional copyeditor and am really frustrated by this change.
It is so frustrating not to be able to delete comments easily. Please change this back to the way it was in previous versions!
This also applies to tracked changes, which used to possess a cross-button, and also a tick-mark button to accept a change.
NUMBER your comments please..as an editor we now cannot refer to a comment balloon number!
