1) In-text citations in APA format should be listed alphabetically. Word does not do this. I tried to use the sort option, but this does not work. I am using a Mac.
2) Word does not auto-format in-text citations as et al. after the first citation for sources with three or more authors. This is proper formatting for APA citations.
3) Word does not auto-format in-text citations as b, c, etc. when a citation with the same author and date, but a different source is cited. Proper citation format would be (EPA, 2019) for the first source and then (EPA, 2019b) for the second source.
