Early Updates Need a Serious Warning of the Trouble the Update will Cause.
The Early Updates are not vetted very well at all. My first time trying it, and now my book will not properly go to a PDF as the Ariel font (one of the most common) turns into something else. I will spend how much time? to try different fonts to get a regular font into a regular PDF for my publisher. This is after it changed a bunch of other formats I worked on to get just right. An hour and a half of extra work for that. Never use an early update unless you are a glutton for punishment. The Early Update has only a modest disclaimer, which in no way warns user that their time and money will be wasted when the update has serious glitches. Serious glitches. This is what the disclaimer should read: "Expect that Early Updates will create serious formatting and other errors which may or may not be readily fixed in your already perfected documents."
