Enable graphics in outline view.
Yes, I know graphics slows Word down, but if I am working with a large amount of text, cutting and pasting and shuffling about as a draft, outline view allows me to SEE the design and easily organize material. Now, if each section, say, has an associated image that I'm writing about, it would be nice to see at least a thumbnail. Yes, I know other views let me see graphics, but they do not support structured thought as easily. And I don't see why the graphics should slow Outline view down more than they slow down any other view.
This is actually worked in earlier versions. Even more reason not to break it in the latest so-called "updates". If you need this feature you have to go back and use .doc not .docx file format.
