Different formatting for caption label and text
Please allow creating a caption style that applies different formatting to the caption label and the text in the caption. For example, I would like the figure label (Figure 1) to be bold, and the description of the figure in the caption to not be bold, without having to manually select each caption label and make it bold or writing a macro.

I paid for the new 2010 so it would be supported but I hate the system. I have used word for years but find this very unfriendly and hate it. I really can't find my old documents easily and then find it difficult trying to type up a new document.

EYEDROPPER TOOL IS A MUST
EYEDROPPER TOOL IS A MUST. Please add that feature it, i use it literally everyday in powerpoint. Why is it not included in Word?? I've searched extensively for the eyedropper tool and combed through the internet searches seeing if I was just not seeing it. Turns out there isn't one, like at all. Add this feature in!!

Organizer Should Display Open Documents
The Organizer is such an important dialog box for copying styles. Open documents should appear in the drop-down menus like Microsoft Project. Users should not need to close and open files to copy styles.

Changing Words Inside the Spell Checker
I would like to be able to correct my words inside of the spell checker instead of having to click on my document and correct them if my word is not listed in the suggestions. This would save me so much time.

Drive Integration
Hi, so there is auto save for one drive. I know this is probably a branding issue and giving more popularity to the Microsoft ecosystem but it would be awesome if you could directly save and keep editing to google drive since it would bring more continuity to especially college students and others.

Option to exclude words within quotes from grammar and/or spell check.
My main purpose is to exclude dialog, with its potentially odd words and phrasing, from spell or grammar check or both.

Option to grammar or spell check only the highlighted area.
I want the option to fix a sentence or paragraph, without spellchecker starting in on the whole document.

Word default for table gridlines to be on
At some point, I think Word 2010, the default changed so that when you opened a blank document, table gridlines were turned off. This has caused lots of confusion as we build all our forms in word using tables. If gridlines are turned off and there are no table borders, the person doesn't see the cells of the table. Would like the default to be table gridlines ON.

Fix default to not automatically resize table to fit contents
I create forms for use online and to be printed for people to fill out by hand. This being the default has created lots of issues for the ones we have to print out. However, I am not able to change the default so that when I insert a new table, this is turned off.

Add keyboard shorcuts for creating equations in Office Math ML format similar to what was available in the old Equation Editor 3.0.
Keyboard shortcuts for adding superscripts, fractions, radicals, etc. save time when creating and editing formulas. The old Equation Editor 3.0 had them, Office Math should too.

overlay notes from file
I'm using many DRM protected documents which does not allowed to be modified nor printed. i suggest WORD (& other office tools) to overlay local comment file on the DRM protected doc. the overlay should be aligned with the DRM doc , (i.e. sync scrolling & positioning the notes). this is very usefull for highly complex docs that needs the reader side notes, while NOT affecting the original DRM document.

Allow hyperlinks between different files, and more specifically from one file to a specific part of the other document
This function could be used if you create a file as a summary, and another file with many pages; it should be possible to click in the summary file on a given item and therefore reach that given item exactly on the specific page in the other file; and all this, perhaps, to be converted into a pdf

Advanced Capitalization Checker
It would just be a button or something that can be used to double check headings/titles/whatever is selected would be capitalized by a certain convention, either the regular sentence method, or AP Stylebook/Chicago/MLA title methods, or even something else.
