Stop including so many involuntary features
Stop including so many involuntary features, or at least provide a way to shut them off.
For example, automatically identifying lines as headings just because they are emboldened and centered, and then deciding to apply the expand/collapse feature to them. It completely screws up my text when I make (non-bulleted or bulleted) lists.
Another similar example: automatically identifying headings as "new sections," then including those "sections" in the list within the "Naviagtion" tab. Let me choose my own sections rather than making them for me where I don't even want them.
Overall, Microsoft word has made formatting a document much more of a headache than it needs to be. I have to use it for work, but when I used Google Docs throughout college, I was never frustrated. Now that I use Word, I am frustrated every day.
