Upgrade of Mail Merge
Mail merge is in desperate need of an upgrade. I would ideally like to see the following features added in the near future.
- Multiple recipients support including CC and BCC.
- Subject line can contain merge fields
- Support for office files or PDFs to be merged and sent to the recipient(s) as attachments.
- Further integration with OneDrive and SharePoint.
- If there are multiple email in Outlook, the ability to choose when merging which email address the emails are sent from.

Especially items 1, 2 & 3 - we need something built-in to the product. IS departments do not want to support add-ins.

I'm sorry. What exactly have already been added? I'm on a 6 month corporate update version of Office so my word version is not very old. My internet connection is fine. How exactly would one download "more RAM". My drivers are up to date - isn't windows supposed to do that for you anyway. My main concern is the second part of the fourth point, "integration with sharepoint". It still isn't possible to use a file (excel, csv, whatever) stored in sharepoint as a data source for the merge. So, no, these have not "all already been added".

These have all already been added, consider moving your router into an open space and updating. Word might actually be blocking you from these features due to the performance of your PC, consider downloading more RAM and updating your drivers.

Further integration with one-drive and sharepoint - it is not integrated with sharepoint at all. I've created a separate request for this integration alone. I say integration I actually just mean the ability to use a sharepoint source file as the data source for a merge - if that's "integration" that's what I want. The other options here are also nice to haves, but, I think being able to use a SharePoint saved source (list, excel, csv, whatever) is fundamental.

I think this is really important during the CV19 situation.

Please prioritize this if you're able to. So many people would rely upon it and not have to use third parties.

This is really an important and very much required feature request. Please address it.

I don't understand why I didn't get an upgraded version of Outlook.

Yes please this has not been updated in years. It needs to have CC and Bcc built in.
