Disable grammar checking, period
I don't want to disable grammar checking while I type. I want to disable grammar checking all the time, forever, because it's incapable of accurately parsing my technical writing anyway. But apparently, on Office 365, I can't do that.
There's no reason on God's green earth to force me to deal with useless grammar checking every time I spellcheck. It's an extra click I don't need, and it slows down the check.
This is typical Microsoft: "There's a feature no one uses. It must be because people don't know about it. So let's make it mandatory!"
Perhaps the reason no one uses the feature is because it's bad. Seriously, why not bring back Clippy to do the grammar check while you're at it.
But at least give me the OPTION to turn off grammar checks.

Maybe I am blind, but I'd appreciate if I could "pause" it to get rid of all the squiggly lines for a while. Or if I write in another language, that it doesn't bother me as long as I am in that document.

100% agree! It is a waste of time and extremely annoying.
