A True Dark Theme
Microsoft has done a good job creating a nice dark theme for Windows 10, but the Dark Grey and Black themes in Office are just bad. They change a few elements but leave so much blinding white that it hurts my eyes. The icons get lost as well. Please make a true dark theme for Office. Also a dark colorful app would be great.
Yes, true dark mode, please. Where the page is black and the text is white (and/or other similar color combos). Obviously this would be for drafting only, not for printing.
Indeed, in the dark theme we should see a white page as a black page with white fonts (inverted) and we can use print preview to see how it looks printed.
It makes no sense to have a dark theme if I still have to look at a white page.

Just like OneNote would be great! The user still has the option of going into 'print preview' to check and make sure everything looks good
agree 100%, just like they now have in OneNote would be perfect
I suffer photophobia so PLEASE MICROSOFT!

Even in the File Explorer they still use the default bright colors for the "loading bars" and I am not sure if the Icons changed, but they seem to be too bright too.
They really need to up their Dark Theme game.
I'd appreciate a "composing view" which would basically be the "print layout" but with almost inverted colors. Black or dark gray page, black (or darker background) and white or light gray text.
Different shades of gray for the menu bar, the rulers and all the other stuff.
I cannot agree more. I absolutely cannot tolerate the look of email. The white and darker colors are terrible. Please provide more options for folks because what is currently available is torturous on the eyes.
