integration equation vertical bar
When evaluating a definite integral, I can write the formula with the integration symbol. When I perform the integration and remove the integration symbol, the general practice is a vertical bar with superscript/subscript to show the upper and lower limits. But a version of this vertical bar which scales (like the integration symbol) does not exist within the editor. This would be especially useful when working with integrals.
It actually does exist. You can find it in the Brackets menu in the Single Brackets section. Then you can apply subscript and superscript to it. You can type it like this:
\left [press space] [type what goes in the bracket] \right [space] | [space] _a^b [press space]
