Open a blank document when I click to open word.
Throughout office, when I click on the icons for word or powerpoint, it opens a pane with all the layouts. I just want them to open the blank document and get out f the way. It is always possible to highlight the layouts, if you feel its necessary to remind people, some of who use these multiple times everyday! This is the least useful in word, where the uses for templates are really low, and perhaps the most useful for powerpoint that often needs templates.
Thanks for the feedback! You can change this to create a blank document on open by going to File > Options > General Tab > Start-up Options > Uncheck show start screen when this application starts.
