I find myself making notes and copying book text for people to read in Word. I use the text highlight feature. I need different colors but sometimes RUN OUT because the colors are to dark to read the text behind it.
My suggestion is be able to make the text highlight feature ANY COLOR I want instead of the 12 provided just like I can change the actual text color to ANY COLOR at any time I prefer.

Agreed, Word 2016 - it is rather nonsensical to have separate colour selection pallettes, one for Font Colour and the other for Text Highlight Color (the highlight choices being 12 colours as noted). Why not just harmonize colour palletes? When one calls up the font, one can select Theme colors and even More Colors. Just harmonize and there will be less to maintain. Good idea or bad?
