Tab Functionality in Microsoft word
I came up with this idea when I have to work across multiple word files, I realized that using mouse left click or ctrl+tab to switch between multiple word windows is kinda overhead and annoying. I would like to suggest an idea to overcome with this problem, Suppose if there is a tab mechanism available in Microsoft word will make life easier of those who have to deal with multiple word files every day and other users as well. With this functionality, the user doesn't have to do that "ctrl+shift" or "mouse click" every time for switching between multiple files.
I have a design to suggest for this functionality. Since the application has a toolbar and options in the header so it will look messy if the tabs are there but if you provide tabs at the bottom for each open file then it will reduce the overhead of switching between the files, also, you can provide multiple additional functionalities to your premium user which can be helpful and new to the them.
