Improve the "ignore' feature in the spell checker.
When I tell the program to ignore a phrase or a word, I want it to ignore it the next time I open the document. Thanks.
I am writing a novel, and it is SO frustrating to see the same horrible grammar suggestions come up every time I open the manuscript. (some grammar suggestions are excellent so I can't turn it off) I am OCD, so I have to hit ignore every time to get rid of the squiggly lines. I will write my next book in another format.
Indeed. "Ignore" means "ignore" not "ignore it just for the moment but remind me about it again later so I have to tell you to ignore it again!"

God yes! I also want it to ignore every iteration of in the document. Not try and correct it every time! In a story series I'm proofing, a character's nickname is 'By' short for 'Byerly'. This series is almost 590k words By is one of the main characters. AND I CANNOT TELL THE GRAMMAR CHECKER TO STOP CORRECTING IT!!
Good idea. Please give us an ignore forever option.
And do not force us to subscribe to these "ideas" when we attempt to vote for them.
