Add shared folders to Shared with Me
With the addition of the Shared with Me option under Open, a new way to find shared files in OneDrive for Business has appeared. A great feature because the way OneDrive for Business handles shared files from others with you is at the moment quite frustrating.
At the moment it only shows single files that are shared. The files that would appear in the root of your Shared with Me in OneDrive online.
It would be a big improvement if you would be able to browse the folders that are shared with you.
At the moment there is this weird situation where:
- You can see shared folders in Windows Explorer if you synchronize them with the OneDrive App. In the mean time you can't see single shared files with the OneDrive App.
- You can see single shared files in Office in the Shared with Me part, but you can't see the shared folders.
Shared folders -> only viewable in Explorer if synchronized with OneDrive App
Single files -> viewable in Office in Shared with Me
Onedrive App -> Shows shared folders AND single files
Office shared with me -> Shows single files AND shared folders

Agree with this request.
A Team should be able to access all the Shared Files that are in the OneDrive Folder, via Office App, using Office App > Open > (Add A Place) > OneDrive > here! [Shared Folder NOT visible]
The only way to see the Files is to open them directly from File Explorer when Sync'd (via 'Two Buildings' icon).

After 1,5 years still no progress. And that on OSx and Windows.
If files are synced they show up under personal onedrive on windows. Use the recent tab to see if you have been in the shared folder before and browse from there.
