Make it possible to switch off the grey background in the comment bubbles or the whole markup area
I need to print the mark-up so that non-techie clients and colleagues can read the comment bubble. Obviously everything is already small, and then Word insists on putting a grey background behind the text. This cannot be switched off in Word 2013. Bad design!

agree. Strange to show in print but not on digital display. Not needed anywhere.
It USED to be possible to turn off this misfeature, but that ability went away. Please restore it.
Let us save ink - please get rid of this background! A simple line will do the job and can save us money as well as lots of waste!
Also, all that grey wastes a lot of ink, making it unnecessarily costly when printing
fix this asap!
One of the wonderful tings about Word is the ability for many people to make comments and respond to others comments. But not all work can be done on the computer. It is BEYOND STUPID to make the ONLY option to print comments very small, in black, with a dark gray back ground so that they are not even remotely legible. Seriously - this is just moronic. FIX IT!!!!
The comments are virtually impossible to read. Please fix!
