Email notification when @mentioned in a comment
When reviewing a document, I would like to be able to @mention someone in a comment bubble and have them receive an email notification indicating that they need to address something in the document.
We’re excited to announce @mention email notifications! This feature is available for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on all five Office platforms (Web, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android).
Is it possible to disable the notification on a user base?
agreed with others, how can this be disabled?
How do you disable this?
I noticed during the paste process in Microsoft word and the windows system to have the last thing copied but sometimes we want to paste a file or a penultimate sentence. Copy and paste according to time because when we copy another file it will be pasted according to the last copy.
Therefore the solution that we want when the paste will be according to the last time and then before the last and then before before the last. A minute, an hour, a day or a week, month ,which is to be arranged by date.
The second idea while writing on the word in Microsoft word
Why not write on the other side of the paper so that there is the property of the reversal of the paper in Microsoft word so that it helps while, printing On the other hand .
Because many printing machines suffer from opening the paper tray and then turn the paper to print on the other side.
So the solution is why we do not do this process in in Microsoft word in the program instead of being an external manual.
I can do the @mentions but no notification emails are received. This is happening on all my UK tenants.
When will this feature be enabled on Word Professional 2016? I am running Office Professional Plus 2016 and can't access this feature.

Thank you for adding the feature. It would be nice if the notification mentioned the Cell number where the comment can be found, and/or if clicking on the link in the email notification would bring you directly to that cell/comment.
neither am I !!!
I wonder if there is an ETA?!?
C'est de base, Google et sa suite ont compris cela il y a longtemps...

I am on the Insider release and am testing this now. In Word Online comments are sent to those mentioned using a send icon. In the Word client, they are sent automatically, but the mention name is removed in the comment, so it's still a bit buggy, but once it's stable it will be a great feature.
Please add this feature.
I am able to use @mentions in Word Online, but the desktop application still doesn't support. I'm running 18028.20128 click to run. That is support to support @mentions in comments. Is the issue possibly that we use the 64-bit Office version??

When is this coming? It is the best feature for co-authoring a doc and collaborating online.
I saw the demo for this at Ignite as well, but not seeing it in word. I am not sure in which version this feature is included.
I've seen this in demos at Ignite and the SharePoint Conference, but am still not seeing it in Word. Which release will support this? When is this rolling out for Word?
Wow! It takes more than 18 months to build a most lacking feature?
