Disable online pictures for "Change picture" command
If you right click on an image and select "Change picture," you get a dialog that takes a few seconds to load and that then lets you click "from a file," "Bing image search," "OneDrive," etc. I only ever want to use "from a file," and I would like the option to always use this and bypass the dialogue. (Either a user setting or a second context menu item maybe.)

I agree - the extra step is ridiculous.
A workaround is to simply disable Word from connecting to the internet. FILE>Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings>Privacy Options, then uncheck Allow Office to connect to the Internet. This has solved the issue for me and the "change picture" button now takes me straight to the file folder.
I work with older people who are used to specific steps in their process. They are completely thrown off having to have an extra step in here now. And it is just annoying for the rest of us who are used to just going straight to the folders we are working in.
Please remove this, or at least give users the chance to disable this themselves. Pretty much no one ever uses this. All this is doing is annoying users.

There are many instances in Word 2016 that now require an extra click to get past the backstage or Bing option. Obviously MS want us to use their services, and have difficulty competing with Google, so I understand why this has been built in, but there really ought to be a way to turn it off. Most users won't be bothered by it, but 'power users', if you like, and working professionals need to be able to tailor their workspace according to their user needs.
Yes, I fully agree remove online feature (addition step for us), sometime please think what the real world doing, try not over smart. thanks.
