Bring back Offline Help in Office 2016
In Office 2013 and previous versions it was possible to choose between Online Help and Offline Help. In Office 2016 there is only Online Help, Offline Help is no longer available. Please bring back this option.
Thanks for your feedback. Our product help is now online only in order to allow us to deliver better content faster as new Office features, updates, and improvements are released.
I fully agree with the need for offline help.
I need offline Help, too. On motorways there is no connection often, or in other environments.

They means by MS ,we are all Milionärs. If you need only the "PoerPoint", than you have to
pay for the > complete Programm <. Every year round 80,-- Euro for there 365 days -
Gangsters like MONEY and > Office 365 < is a part of this System.

Even outdated Help is better then no Help at all ! Offline help is an essential feature. Please bring it back.

online help is not working for context sensitive help :-(
Missing Offline-Help brings numerous Errors and Popups all the time when i am behind a firewall with noch Internet-Connection.
This happens despite the fact that Office-Connections are all switched off in the TrustCenter.
Very annoying !!
I don't mind if you edit it online, but it really needs to be synchronized with an offline help reader.
Ich brauche die offline Hilfe.
Viel Besser - viel schneller - viel direkter
Offline Help is an essential feature. Not everyone is online all the time.

I also would appreciate if an offline help function would be available. BR MS

Please bring back the offline help as many people are asking for it. Especially Excel, which naturally is more involved. Just publish your online content somewhere where people can download. I'm happy with once-a-year update.
Consider that many in heavy office user community also happen to travel a lot.

We don't care that it's easier and better for YOU. We care that we sometimes have to work completely off-line for long periods of time. This is expected in some fields, where internet access is either not available or not allowed. Users in either of these categories are completely screwed by Microsoft's one-size-fits-all view of the world. The formerly-available off-line help features were very beneficial. Without them, you cannot figure out how to operate the product, and learn about seldom-used features. Make the off-line help feature downloadable to the local machine!
whoever decided to remove the help feature does not know how to live without internet or does not know that internet bandwidth is costly in many countries. Please send this guy to africa or indonesia where internet is sooooo slow and costly
I can not believe that the help function is available only online. This is not acceptable. I am really angry about that.
Offline Help is needed for Tasks in high risk environment without internet connection.
For me also offline help is a MUST!
Offline documentation is a must--especially needed for Office applications that refuse to recognize a clearly-established-with-100-percent-certainty internet connection. Very curious product development strategy, to keep adding more elements to the software that don't work while cutting out the things that do, or used to.

Offline help is needed. This is just plain wrong. Having online help only doesn't even allow them to "deliver better content faster" because if you're offline no content can be delivered at all, r-tard. Why can't these idiots work it out?
What kind of ********** decided to remove offline help from Office2016. Hello, India.
