Please actually make page breaks so we can see where it finishes and ends.
Please the option to have spaces between pages like in the offline version of Word. This would finally make the online version of word a usable alternative to the downloaded version.
This is seriously ridiculous that we cannot do this. The same with displaying footnotes. Why can't I view all footnotes in word online while I'm editing BUT I can see them in "reader mode?" This is nonsense.
i already can.

The fact that Microsoft received this idea on August 2018 and we are in February 2020 and still Word online offers a horrible experience in this regard, shows how much they want to focus on the web version of apps.
I come from the Google G Suite world which is way more advanced and fast compared to Office 365 online. Microsoft needs to figure this out ASAP.
By the by, this is the 3rd most voted request...So no clue why nobody is really implementing this change...It cannot be so difficult, as the view is already available when you want to "preview in read mode" just make it possible to edit that way PLEASE.

Agreed. Need this feature added.
Agree. I always have to check out the print preview to see where my essay ends and works cited begins, and even when it seems like I managed to make them separate pages, Word Online will randomly change the page endings and I'll accidentally end up submitting my essay with the works cited on the same page as the end of my essay.
Totally, I bought the Office 365, but Word keep resisting improving their online editor, it always bring me back to google docs or dropbox paper even paying for the word product...
This is pure common sense. IDK how it's possible for you to just ignore it Microsoft...
