saving work onto a memory stick
that although its already saving it for you as you're going along that you're still able to save it on a memory stick to take to school/work etc
Downloading a copy to your computer or a memory stick was one of the features shipped with the new ‘Save-As’ menu in 2015

Thanks for the idea. Do you mean download the file to your memory stick, or automatically save the changes into the memory stick while you are editing online?
For the former one, if you are in the editing mode of the online document, you can go to File -> Save As, then click Download button to download the file to your local machine. If you are in the viewer mode, you can find the Download button in the "..." dropdown menu in the right corner of the header toolbar. When the download is finished, you can find the document in your download folder and copy the file into your memory stick.
For the later one, so far we do not support it on Office Online. Instead, you can edit online (it will automatically save your changes), then download to your memory stick and take it to school/work.
Hope this helps and please keep on posting more ideas! Thank you.
